We Are His Masterpiece

  The Word Ephesians 2:10 NLT For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.   The Prayer Heavenly Father, thank you so much for making us, creating us, and designing ups. You put us together, as individual masterpieces, and yet part of your great MASTERpiece. Thank you that continue to make us yours through the work of your Son, Jesus Christ, in our lives. Please, O God, help us yield to His work and not stand in the way. May we embrace it, rather than pushing back and away from the uncomfortable steps that are necessary for our transformation. Lord, please enable us to remember that your purposes in creating each one of us is for much more than our happiness You've created us for good things, that declare your glory and fullfill your purposes, planned by you long ago....

word-filled wednesday {see and pray} :: i am to do what?

​ The Word If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat.     If they are thirsty, give them water to drink. ~ Proverbs 25:21 (NLT) The Prayer Honestly, Father, the thought of tending to needs of my enemies is a struggle for me. Rather than offering care to one who opposes me, as You would, I tend to rejoice in what I consider their judgement. Instead of looking with compassionate eyes, I sometimes view their situation through eyes of condemnation.  My hurt, disillusionment, and frustration cloud my heart's vision.  I allow my emotions to be my filter, not You.  This is difficult to admit, but it is he truth.  The thing is, that's not how I want to live.  Denying forgiveness and executing judgement eats away at me and in no way honors You.  I fight it, Father!  It seems when I fight it, though, I lose.  I need You to fight it for and through me.  May I see with Your eyes, feel with Your heart, love with Your love.  Enemy or friend ~ it shouldn't make a difference.  You've spoken and I want to harken.  Please live THROUGH me in every and all situations.    In Jesus' Name, Amen… The Share If you are joining us today & “Seeing & Praying”  THIS WORD, we’d love to encourage each other on the journey. The Word Hebrews 4:16 (NIV) Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. The Prayer Father, the idea of having complete access to you wows me! I have permission to come boldy to your throne whenever I have need, no matter where I am. No appointment is necessary. No guards to prevent me. No special access code needed. It's just me, your daughter, entering into your presence. Maybe I have a request. Maybe not. Sometimes, I just want to enter and sit, soaking in your amazing essence.  Maybe I simply want to show my gratitude, leaving with tear-streaked cheeks. Either way, no matter what the need, I have access!  Thank you for being a Father who gladly welcomes his children, wanting each of us to step up, out and toward you. By becoming flesh, you granted all flesh entrance. See & Pray: Immeasurably More

The Word: Ephesians 3:20-21NIV Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.   The Prayer: Lord God, You are so much more than our human minds can even conceive. Only by faith, as we embrace the truths in Your Word, can we begin to wrap our minds around Your promises. You declare boldly that You, O God, can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us. Thank You, God! What a promise and gift You offer to those who've put their faith in your son, Jesus, as our Lord and Savior. May we now be afraid to seek You and ask of You for those needs and desires tucked away in our hearts.  Father God, we do pray that anything You do in us and through us by Your power will be for Your glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations…forever and ever…and ever. internet cafe devotions {see and pray} :: anchored

The Word Psalm 1:1-3 (NKJV) Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,     Nor stands in the path of sinners,     Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;  But his delight is in the law of the Lord,     And in His law he meditates day and night.  He shall be like a tree     Planted by the rivers of water,     That brings forth its fruit in its season,     Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. The Prayer Father, I long to delight in you! I want to see as you see, hear as you hear, give as you give and live as you've called me to do.  I desire to walk "blessed", listening to you and hearing you above all the chatter that works so hard to grab my attention. Not all the chatter is "bad", it's just a distraction. Please shield me from distractions whose purpose is to pull me away from your presence.  May I listen to your counsel, meditate on your word, keeping my eyes on you and you alone.  It is then the roots of my faith grow deep, burrowing through the earth, grounding me as an anchor.  When the winds of discouragement come, I'm anchored.  When the tides of frustratioin come, I'm anchored.  When the waves of disappointment come, I'm anchored.  Now, that's what I consider "prosperous"!  Thank you for your promises, promises in which I can put my faith.  In Jesus' Name, Amen… The Share If you are joining us today & “Seeing & Praying”  THIS WORD, we’d love to encourage each other on the journey.
