How do can you and I turn a stray heart into a princess heart? How can we set aside the idea of never having enough to solely and completely relying upon God for all things? How can we rejoice with others over what they’ve been blessed with instead of desiring more for ourselves?
Although both of my cats were once strays and have that as part of their history, I think that this whole food distinction points to a larger issue within their hearts. Katy had a history of being a stray before she was rescued by the humane society, but her mentality has moved from stray to princess. Mali, on the other hand, is still a stray at heart. In Mali’s mind she still lives in the “Land of Never Enough.” Katy lives in the “Land of Plenty.”
