There is something different about summertime.

The days lengthen and the pace slows. This month, pause and notice the beauty that has broken forth in its fullness from the buds of spring. They BLOOM! Just as all of creation has bloomed, reflect on the growth in your life.

Take some time this summer and reflect on your life as a disciple. What does it look like for you? Perhaps you don’t see yourself as a disciple.

You are.

We are.

As followers of Jesus, we are called to be disciples. Every single one of us. Read the verse for yourself and meditate on it this month. We invite you to make it your desktop and let it be the reminder that regardless of your mission field, be it Topeka or Tunisia, you are called to be recognized as a disciple by simply loving those around you. Genuinely, authentically and missionally, just like Jesus.

There are very few rules, in fact the beauty of this ministry is the creative expression that God reveals Himself through. We marvel at the creativity that participants post! It’s a blessing!  We encourage the ” post behind the picture,” or the reflections that many of the participants share. We ask that for WFW that participants refrain from using non-biblical. If you’ve got the time we also encourage you to visit a few of the WFW contributors! It’s always a blessing to see the Scripture and story that creatively appear across the screen.

WFW is not about books, authors, artists… it’s about God and HIS WORD ONLY. WFW is about celebrating the gift of creativity through God’s Word and sharing the creative Word!

Lori MacMath

Lori's daily mantra includes praying, "I will take it Lord, ALL you have to give," and a commitment to live out Colossians 3:17 daily. It's her prayer that the energy that fills her spirit be with her till her dying breath! She lives in the Deep South with her husband of 21 years and her 3 children, where she seeks daily to be creative and use the gifts the Lord has given her. With the heart of an artist and a spirit to live intentionally missional, Lori strives daily to see Him in all that surrounds her. Encouraging women on their daily walk with the Lord is her passion!
