It’s so contradictory to culture.
Humble yourself and you look weak is what they would have us believe. The reality is that there is power in humility. I know, I struggle with the notion myself! As a gal who seeks justice, I often forget that it’s in humility that I stand the most powerful. I feel as if I have to defend myself against the rival, you know? As I continue to journey through January committed to living intentionally, I’ve been recently reminded that humility is paramount. I realize that I might be the only one out there who is convicted in this, but you see, I THINK of myself as having an understanding of humility, but as I dive into humility, Jesus style, it becomes clear to me that I have quite a bit of work to do.
Do you celebrate weakness, neediness & powerlessness, embracing the power in humility? It’s what Philippians lays out.
Jesus style humility. I’m working on it.
There are very few rules, in fact the beauty of this ministry is the creative expression that God reveals Himself through. We marvel at the creativity that participants post! It’s a blessing! We encourage the ” post behind the picture,” or the reflections that many of the participants share. We ask that for WFW that participants refrain from using non-biblical. If you’ve got the time we also encourage you to visit a few of the WFW contributors! It’s always a blessing to see the Scripture and story that creatively appear across the screen.
WFW is not about books, authors, artists… it’s about God and HIS WORD ONLY. WFW is about celebrating the gift of creativity through God’s Word and sharing the creative Word!
Please join myself and some other wonderful ladies as we share the creative gifts God has blessed us with by signing into to the Link below to participate in WFW!

Yes – the verse in Philippians – I am often checking my pride with these words. How often I fail, but God is good. He continues to cultivate humility in me.
