As the He stood before Lazarus’s tomb . . .
Jesus wept.
Now, we know what He was going to do.
We know how the story ends . . .
But even moments before He raised Lazarus from the dead -
He wept.
Passersby had thought that Jesus wept for the loss of His friend but wouldn’t it make more sense, knowing good and well what He was about to do; That He wept not for Lazarus but for His mourning family?
Jesus has a soft spot in His heart for those that weep.
Even moments before a miracle, seconds before “come forth,” we have a Savior who sympathizes with us.

Super POWERFUL message!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the feelings it invoked!

This really ministered to me. Even in my despair, when I don’t know that Jesus will perform a miracle, He is there comforting me–not angry at my lack of faith.
Blessings,
Janis
