Patience Not Pride

It all makes sense when we read it this way…His way not mine, patience not pride.

The end of a matter is better than its beginning,
and patience is better than pride.

Ecclesiastes 7:8 NIV

Welcome to WFW!

There are very few rules, in fact the beauty of this ministry is the creative expression that God reveals Himself thorough. We marvel at the creativity that participants post with this meme. We encourage the ” post behind the picture,” or the reflections that many of the participants share. We ask that non-biblical resources not be used.

WFW is not about books, authors, artists.. it’s about God and HIS WORD ONLY. WFW is about celebrating the gift of creativity through God’s Word.

I agree with you…His way not mine, patience not pride. Wait upon the Lord; He knows what’s best for us.

The Linky tool doesn’t work for me (it kept showing “Done, with errors on page”. Would you please link it for me? My WFW post is up on my photo blog at http://wondersbeyondwords.blogspot.com/2011/09/worry-about-nothingpray-about.html . Thanks so much!

WOW! God spoke to me on Sunday about the encouraging Bible verses from Ephesians 4 that also touch on patience, which I wound up using for my post. Don’t you love it when He does that for two or more of us on a Word-filled Wednesday. A special joy! :) Have a blessed week.

Beautiful verse… if we just wait on Him and allow His will to be done.

I’m so thankful that patience is a fruit of the Spirit. In me, I’m not patient. But when I abide in Him …I am patient. Praise God!

I love your graphic and Scripture Lori!

    Blessings and love,
    Debbie

We are studying the book of James in our precept Bible study. Patience is a key word for the book. It is part of growing in the Lord– it is good to reflect on this.
