Reliable & Refreshing

Greetings from the Deep South where the temperatures are soaring.

In celebration of the official arrival of Summer, (and Australia, I’m jealous.) I chose this refreshing image.

Proverbs speaks so eloquently. The word “refreshing” stopped me in my tracks.

As refreshing as a cool drink is, equally refreshing to the soul is a reliable friend, which sadly, in this day and age, seem too often to be few and far between.

Perhaps the thought of the day is this…

What kind of friend are you?

Are you refreshing, uplifting, encouraging and edifying? OR are you like a 100 degree day?

Time to be honest.

Welcome to WFW!

There are very few rules, in fact the beauty of this ministry is the creative expression that God reveals Himself thorough. We marvel at the creativity that participants post with this meme. We encourage the ” post behind the picture,” or the reflections that many of the participants share. We ask that non-biblical resources not be used.

WFW is not about books, authors, artists.. it’s about God and HIS WORD ONLY. WFW is about celebrating the gift of creativity through God’s Word.

Blessings Lori… Is that a BOMB POP? Let’s share, friend… or we’s siestas!!
Now you know what kind of a friend I am… Long distance (lol) As bad as I am I’m not like 100 degrees… but I’m not sure that I’m that reliable either. I’d like to think that I am. How ’bout a glass of ice tea? or from down here…a raspado would do the trick…that’s like a sno-cone!!! Well, all I can say is, it’s in the 80s at night time here (or hi 70s) sweltering heat from April to November and Hurricane season has already started (2nd one near Acapulco but downgraded) so this WORD and IMAGE was soooooooooooooo REFRESHING that I think I’d like to have one but I’ll have to settle for some cold water without ice. Maybe tomorrow, I’ll get a pineapple raspado… or a coco helado! Thanks Lori for the COOL Message!

    Peace and JOY,
    Peggy

Thanks for the encouragement to be a more uplifting friend. I know when I get tired and stressed, I tend to be negative so needed this!

I hope I am a refreshing friend, just as appealing and comforting as that yummy looking popcicle!
