Your Words…

Words & the power they wield.

This verse came to mind as I prepared dinner the other night. Just how tasty are “my” words? They too wield tremendous power.

The only way for this gals words to align with His are to spend some time “supping” with Him and His Word.

Such revelation from a pot of cooking chicken!

Welcome to WFW!

There are very few rules, in fact the beauty of this ministry is the creative expression that God reveals Himself thorough. We marvel at the creativity that participants post with this meme. We encourage the ” post behind the picture,” or the reflections that many of the participants share. We ask that non-biblical resources not be used.

WFW is not about books, authors, artists.. it’s about God and HIS WORD ONLY. WFW is about celebrating the gift of creativity through God’s Word.

Blessings Lori…but what a great REVELATION! Love the pot! Because it’s not yet midnight here… I can leave a regular comment, tomorrow just PRAYERS!

“Your words are so choice, so tasty.” easier with us than daily in our homes to speak forth words of beauty and love, edifying and encouraging but in our daily routines our words really do need to align with God’s Word and speak affirmations and declarations of His power. So very true that the more we SUP with Him and taste His Word… we see how good it is to “Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.”

This has to be from The Message… because this “best home cooking” in your fancy pot… sounds much better than lovin’ to meditate on the law all day long… slo’ cooker southern style… filled with love and your special touch as always! “May the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts” be just as pleasing in His sight as your home cooked chicken and His wonderful WORD as we read, eat and love God’s Word and PRAY it back to Him and say
    mmm….mmm…. good…mmm…mmm… good that’s what God’s Word is, mmm…mmm
GOOD…SO TASTY… such a delight… needed this Word long ago to be lived in my home… praying that all of us, may SUP with Him so our words reflect HIS!

Love, peace and JOY… with many prayers,
    Peggy

WOW! What a lovely and powerful Word-Filled Wednesday. Definitely very convicting. As a Sandwich Generation Granny Nanny, I am often going on low sleep – and the less sleep, the harder it is to watch for how “tasty” my words are. Thank you for a great reminder. And PRAISE GOD that He is never tired and the Word of God is ALWAYS tasty!

Hi… as usual, I am a little late in posting. I live on the west coast. I go to bed early at night, and I’m out of the house by 5 a.m. So by the time i go to work, commute home, and get my links posted its about 5:30 or 6:00 p.m.
is there any way you could have the linky up for WFW after 6 p.m. Pacific Time on Tuesday? If not, I understand. I would not be surprised if there are others out there like myself with the same problem. I’ll be going to Ash Wednesday services tonight so I may not get to reading posts until tomorrow or Friday. But I will :) Hopefully folks come back to the linky looking for late posts. Hey, I really like your image and scripture this week!!! Thank you so much.

    Lori,
I love the photo with the pot steaming. Seeing that steam reminds me of my hot words at times. I need to contain them like that lid.
It’s such an artistic photo as well. I really like it.
    Thanks for stopping by.

You’ll be entered in the drawing for Ann Voskamp’s book, One Thousand Gifts.”

    Blessings,
    Janis

I want this as a poster in my kitchen! I want to frame it and use it as the focal point! I so need to watch no so much my words but the tiredness behind those words that lets too much out that should be kept in.
