Bundle #1

One copy of Leah Adams’ new Bible Study, From the Trash Pile to the Treasure Chest.

Legacy—-it’s what you leave for the generations that follow. When all is said and done, the legacy you leave for those who come after you will be a result of the choices you make each day……choices regarding your faith, character, and holiness.

In her six week Bible study entitled “From the Trash Pile to the Treasure Chest: Creating a Godly Legacy” our very own, author and speaker Leah Adams invites you to journey down the path of creating a godly legacy. As you search God’s Word for biblical truth concerning the topics of character and holiness you will answer these and other questions. Your heart will be challenged to examine your faith in light of those who have gone before you. Join Leah for this thought-provoking study that will encourage you in the creation of a treasure-chest legacy that you can leave for the generations yet to come.

A copy of Jim Daly’s book, Finding Home, from Focus on the Family.

“I should be insane—or in jail.”

Instead, Jim Daly, President and CEO of Focus on the Family managed to rise above his harrowing childhood that began in the Compton suburb of Los Angeles. In this deeply personal memoir, he relives horrors no child should endure. A bloodcurdling neighborhood murder merely serves as the backdrop to the abuse and alcoholism within the four walls of his own home, a cycle broken only by the cancer that leaves him motherless. Orphaned by twelve, he somehow managed to catch enough glimpses of grace that he knew he wanted more, both from himself and from a God he had to believe existed.

Instead of the joy-filled celebrations that we build up in our minds, the holidays (pick one, any one) can often become stress-filled, money-draining, joy-less days of the year that we just “want to get through.” And it is by our own volition that we have refused too many times to allow our holiday celebrations to be the spiritual experience they are meant to be.

This book has been conceived and designed over 30 years as Dr. Bill Thrasher has spoken to thousands of people, helping them realize the spiritual battle that surrounds their celebration of the holidays. Littered with practical thoughts, ideas, experiences, and stories, Putting God Back in the Holidays will help you and your family celebrate holidays and birthdays with biblical truth in mind.Instead of the joy-filled celebrations that we build up in our minds, the holidays (pick one, any one) can often become stress-filled, money-draining, joy-less days of the year that we just “want to get through.” And it is by our own volition that we have refused too many times to allow our holiday celebrations to be the spiritual experience they are meant to be.

A picture book for you to enjoy with your kiddos by our very own, author Brooke Keith.

Chrissie is a little turtle with a big problem: she believes her shell is empty. She spends her days comparing herself with other animals in the forest and imagining what it would be like to be them, only to end up disappointed again and again when she finds she cannot transform herself into someone new. At last, when Chrissie is ready to give up all hope, she has a conversation with God. She begs him to make her into a creature like the wonderful animals she has seen, but God has something better in mind.

Chrissie’s Shell can be found here.

Bundle #2

A $25.00 gift certificate to Studio JRU.

I am a mixed media artist living in rural Nebraska – gravel roads, trees, fresh air, peace and quiet. Along with my very supportive and patient husband Heydon, who is my best friend. Art has been a lifelong passion of mine. I have been blessed to know since I was young that art was the gift GOD granted me for this journey. Faith is a big part of my life and my art. God has given me this talent, blessed me with art in my life, so I want to use it in the best way I possibly can. I can’t even imagine doing anything else. I want each piece of art that I make to be meaningful. I think God’s Word is so beautiful and inspiring. I often use Bible verses in my work because I want to share that inspiration. People may compliment my art but really it is God working through me…I merely hold the paint brush as He miraculously holds me through whatever may come in this life.

One set of all 5 of Seeds Family Worship CD’s.

Seeds of Courage (Vol. 1)
Seeds of Faith (Vol. 2)
Seeds of Praise (Vol. 3)
Seeds of Purpose (Vol. 4)
The Power of Encouragement (Vol. 5)

We’ve taken inspiration from God’s perfect plan for seeds dispersal and designed packaging intended to facilitate the spreading of Seeds. Each package of each album includes two identical full-length CDs. So simply tear the CD cover in half and share a complete packaged album with a friend nearby or far away. You get to take part in spreading Seeds–helping take God’s Word to as many homes as possible. Both parents and kids will love the music. The lyrics are God’s own Word, straight from the NIV. It’s the perfect way to sing, dance, and make a joyful noise unto the Lord, while planting His Word forever in your heart and mind. It’s a Scripture-memory tool — It’s a CD full of fabulous music. It’s both! Seeds combines songs that use Scripture for lyrics with strongly produced music that is varied in style to create a sound the whole family will love. Each song helps a child (and any adults in the vicinity) memorize one or more Bible verses from the NIV.

Looks like a great way to spread God’s Word through good books written by christian authors. And such a good gift for someone to win that might not be fortunate this christmas season to buy a gift but to win one that they could give that would bring a blessing to someone.
