I Am a Sojourner

That’s really all we all are.

Sojourners; those on a temporary stay.  It’s what we do with that time that matters.

Sojourners, I love that word.

Word Filled Wednesday celebrates the creativity of The Word. It’s not about famous quotes or other authors, it’s about His Word expressed in creative ways. Celebrating the gift of creativity! Not sure what to do…all the information on WFW can be found here.

Blessings Lori and Fellow Sojourner(s) of WFW! Love the graphics and the steps of faith (I use this photo in my current personal testimony unraveling now).
Yet this is why most of us long for something beyond this earthly journey. I will have to ponder over “sojourner” because most of the time I feel like a lost wanderer yet I know my steps are guarded and directed, actually anointed more and more. I’m so thankful for that! I’m so glad those prints are HIS and He is carrying me at the moment since the end of last year. I’m been dragging my feet even when I raising my arms & trying to praise! So much easier when we realize we are just passing through this way!!! Inspirational, sis… and gorgeous in its simplicity! (((hugs))) Peggy

Beautiful. I had another blogger friend mention about us being sojourner this week. Sometimes we get so focused on this life that we forget this is not our home. Happy WFW!

It’s good to be reminded that this is temporary, because I ten to cling tightly to here and now. Beautiful image, as well, Lori. Once again, GREAT WFW,

Now I just need to remember that when I want things! I can’t take them with me. This life is just temporary. And fellowship…relationship….especially with Jesus…is the most important thing in life. It is the only thing we can take to heaven with us. The more brothers and sisters in Christ I get to know here, the more I will know in heaven’s home!

I seriously LOVE this one…yes, sojourner is a fantastic word, but partnered with your graphic and laid out the way you did…it’s beautiful! Great job!!!

Great reminder, Lori! My friend has a saying, “In light of eternity, does THIS (whatever the situation) really matter?” Puts things in perspective. Beautiful WFW my friend!

  12. What a wonderful illustration for this encouraging Scripture. When I was a child, our church used to regularly sing one of the older praise and worship hymn songs – I’m But a Stranger Here, Heaven is my Home. I still love to sing that to myself to remind myself of that important fact! Thank you for “putting that song” into this lovely picture!

I love it! One of my favorite words is “sojouner,” but I was told not to use it in my writing because it may limit my audience. I’m glad someone is able to use it and make it look good! The image really helps to clarify and give life to the word. Plus, I love the verse that goes with it!

Here’s to all the sojourners of the world!!!
