Let Jesus In

People say that love conquers all and I’ve finally seen that it really does. Love, God’s love, is what gives me the motivation to be done with the sin in my life and give everything in my life to Jesus. When I let Jesus in (even into my temptations), I discover the power of His love.

Trust the One Who can Part the Red Sea

This time though, I’m a lot closer in my walk with Him and He lovingly knows how to get my attention. If you think God speaks in all thou’s and whoever’ith, well, He doesn’t with me. This is what He said:

“You can’t even part hair, why won’t you trust the One who parted the Red Sea?”

I laugh thinking about it because this wasn’t an accusing voice, it was an authentic voice that knows me in and out and loves me. He wants the best for me. He’s honest and funny, and yes, holy.

Have you ever found yourself smack dab in the middle of a trap of the enemy; bound so tightly by his chains you could hardly breathe? The enemy had beaten me. He had won. His power over me was great. As I lay there in that moment of life or death I remembered that there was a God who would fight for His people. I remembered that there was a God who desired to breathe life into the dying.
