Jennifer Dukes Lee is an Iowa farmer’s wife. She’s the mama of two girls. And she’s bowled over daily by grace.
Jennifer describes herself as an imperfect pilgrim who’s stumbling her way Home. Along her journey, she has loved to tell the story. (‘Twill be her theme in glory!)
Jennifer is an adjunct professor of journalism at Dordt College , a Christian college in Sioux Center , Iowa . For years, she was a newspaper reporter at The Des Moines (Ia.) Register, The Omaha (Neb.) World-Herald and other news organizations. She left the news scene in 2002 to move to the Lee family farm in northwest Iowa . She continues to freelance for a variety of publications.
She’s flawed ~ but forgiven. She’s been broken ~ but made whole. She fell to the depths of doubt ~ but was pulled out of the pit by her Savior who takes people as they are ~ but promises never to leave them that way.
Jennifer also writes at her personal blog, Getting Down With Jesus, where she gets down to Truth about God’s extraordinary work in ordinary lives.
"I love to tell the story, 'twill be my theme in glory, to tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love."
