Tracy Knowlton’s spiritual journey is best read from back to front. At nine, she accepted Jesus as her Savior but she was a woman when she finally learned to fall in love with Him.
Raised in the Southern Baptist church, her fascination with scripture was planted early, because they gave gold stars for memorizing verses. Tracy’s dogs love this about her, as she sits and reads her bible to them in the mornings.
Tracy became a professional student while dabbling in other careers. She has a BA in Anthroplogy, and a minor in Spanish, from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. A move to the Southwest earned her a BS from Arizona State University in Psychology. Finally, she graduated with a Master of Arts in Theology with a Biblical Studies focus from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2008.
Tracy’s inquisitive nature pushes her on to study the word of God and write about it, as life permits, on her blog Woman.Faith.Words. When she is not writing a post or article, she is loving her newest role…being a mom.
Tracy is lucky enough to share this adventure with her husband, Dwight, who is God’s gift to a grateful woman. Married only five years, they are committed to remaining perpetual newlyweds and ridiculously excited parents.
