Linda drives a minivan and wears sensible shoes…most of the time. But “lead-foot Linda” loves red shoes and race cars and is passionate about helping women pursue God with no speed limits.
The author of a number of Bible studies and women’s ministry resources with Group Publishing, Linda also works as an occupational therapist helping people rehabilitate from injuries or illnesses, and has a dream to climb one of the Colorado mountains in her backyard.
A transplanted Maine native (and diehard Red Sox fan) Linda has also lived in Vienna, Austria where she fulfilled a life-long dream to sing like Julie Andrews on a mountainside outside of Salzburg. And as unlikely as it may seem, she has a cache of trophies from her younger years as a professional rally car co-driver.
Linda is keenly aware of the handful of work she is for God’s hands, and gives Him all the glory for the transformations He has worked in her life. To her amazement, in addition to her freelance writing and rehabilitation work, Linda has had the honor of leading national small group and volunteer ministry training workshops, women’s retreats, and prayer ministries. Her two Bible studies: Finding Balance and A Taste of Freedom are available from Group Publishing.
When she’s not dreaming of the Sound of Music or driving too fast, you can find Linda sharing her thoughts on her blog: SunnySideUpnotscrambled and Do It Afraid. Visit and tell her you like her. It helps her eat less chocolate.
